A new content pack is coming this February 27 to Age of Wonders 4. Titled as "Primal Fury," it's going to introduce a new Primal Culture that's themed on the mastery of beasts and nature. It's available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S, and priced at $9.99. Those who already have the Premium Edition of the game, or the Expansion Pass can get this new content pack for free.
Primal Animal
In this upcoming content pack, players get to learn new ways of conquering the realms even how to bring the land under their control. The Primal Culture has them choose from one of the seven primal animals which their people then worship as well as shape both physical and spiritual lives. Each of the primal animals is linked to a specific terrain along with a damage type. This means players can transform the land to the biome of their choose and get powerful buffs in combat. There's also going to be a quest that's unique to each of the primal animal.
Tomes of Magic
Another feature of Primal Fury is the introduction of two new Tomes of Magic. The first one is the Tome of Fey Mists, which is all about spreading magical mists that shield units from ranged attacks and grant buffs. The second is the Tome of the Stormborne and focuses on control of water and lightning. This tome also let players get powerful economic buffs from ocean provinces and let them build those fearsome Stormbringer units. It can even allow armies to transform into Naga.
Other New Content
Players can also look forward to the new physical forms known as Lupine and Goatkin. This should allow for rather new fantasies for the empire to fulfill like creating a faction of arcane wolves or forest-dwelling satyrs.
Other new content includes new mounts and new wildlife units for everyone to do battle with and even against. New Realm Content meanwhile is sure to plunge the empire into a world of hostile seas.
