The Red-Eyed Wanderer Joins the Roster in MapleStory with Latest Update

The 2025 Winter update for MapleStory is finally and brings with it some exciting quality-of-life upgrades. Dubbed as "Every Little Thing Every Previous Thing," the highlight is the addition of a new playable character. Get ready to meet the newest Warrior-class characters, none other than the Red-Eyed Wanderer Ren.

Ren goes on a journey across Grandiss as a way of fulfilling the final wish of a friend. When it comes to playstyle, she brings with her a rather unique one that puts focus on fluid combat with the use of the Plum Blossom Sword and the Imugi Gem. Once the two energies unite, it is then the Ren releases powerful skills like the Rising Azure Dragon: Divided Heavens. By the way for those wondering, her main stat is actually Strength (STR).

Wanderer’s Travelogue

As a way of supporting her character, some Ren-exclusive progression events have been launched. One of these is the Wanderer’s Travelogue, which runs from November 12, 2025, to February 2, 2026.

There are two types of missions available for this event. The first is the Weekly Mission where players need to defeat enemies and in return get to earn rewards that boost EXP. Here's what's up for grabs:

• Get 3x EXP Coupon (30 min) x5 after defeating 1,000 enemies.

• Get VIP Booster x 10 after defeating 5,000 enemies.

• Get Luxe Sauna Coupon x2 after defeating 10,000 enemies.

By the way, players can also claim 2x EXP Coupon (15 min) for every 2,000 enemies defeat for up to 5 times per week.

The second type is the Step-Up Mission where they have to reach specific levels or defeat bosses. They then get to unlock milestone rewards. Check out the complete list of rewards here.
