Neon Abyss 2 starts the new year strong with the release of its third major update. It introduces a new playable agent in Cassie. This quirky but exceptionally skilled treasure hunter was born and raised in the slums. She's resourceful, sharp and scrappy.
Her standard weapon is the ranged Glint gun. It fires a lucky bullet every four shots. The number of lucky bullets scales with the keys players have and the thing is, Cassie has a way to help. To help players get more keys, they can save them up and then use Cassie's special ability known as the Carousel Music Box. The ability allows players to unlock doors and chests in place of keys. While the skill does sound amazing, it brings with it a little risk. That's because when the timing is wrong, players could take some damage.
New Bosses
The new update also has new bosses make their presence felt in the game. One of these is the God of Forethought named Prometheus. This legendary "Titan Boss" of the original Neon Abyss joins the game as part of a free DLC. For some players, it's sure to be a familiar yet fearsome challenge.
Then there's the regular boss known as the God of the Art Exhibition. This new boss has the ability to kick butt and can even look pretty doing it. Players need to brush up on their combat skills before making the decision to face this boss.
