Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that the second season pass DLC pack for Digimon Story Time Stranger is now available. The Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN features a special questline that centers around Hiroko Sagisaka and her encounters with the Banchos. In addition, the new DLC episode has players dive into an alternate dimension to rescue Hiroko from Parallelmon while at the same time rally the Banchos to come to her aid.
The new DLC also unlocks five new digivolution paths for Mega Digimon. This allows players to access a special story woven from encounters that transcend time and space separately from the main storyline. The five Mega Digimon are BanchoLillymon, BanchoStingmon, BanchoGolemon, BanchoMamemon, and Omnimon: Merciful Mode.
Digimon Story Time Stranger was released October 3 and available for the PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S. A free demo of the game is available on all platforms and gives players the chance to experience the opening chapter of the game.
The game has been designed to serve as the perfect entry point to the series since it offers multiple settings for both the human and digital worlds. As players work with Digimon in battle, they not only forge bonds but also evolve abilities. They also have to take on a journey between the two worlds, even sometimes even across time.
Players can also look forward to taming and recruiting the hundreds of Digimon they can discover along their journey. They can train them and tap into each of their unique abilities to fight. This is not a surprise since it serves as the core to the Digimon experience song with being an essential element to the game.
One unique element to the game is how players can customize and develop strong bonds with Digimon. This helps in achieving that much needed victory in strategic and turn-based combat where players fight against various enemies.
Aside from what’s already mentioned, Digimon Story Time Stranger offers an intriguing story and setting along with memorable characters that include more than 450 Digimon with unique abilities for players to discover.
