Netmarble announces that The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has managed to reach a new milestone by showing a strong global performance on the Top Sellers chart in Steam. In particular, the game had managed to reach No. 6 worldwide.
At the time of release, that game managed to reach No. 1 in France and No. 2 in the countries of Belgium, Italy, and Spain. Meanwhile, in the regions of Brazil, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, and Thailand, it reached Top 5 rankings. Finally in the US, the game was ranked No. 11.
The studio also said that The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has also received positive feedback from console players. It held a user rating of 4.35 out of 5 on PlayStation 5 after the early launch.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. It's coming out on mobile platforms during the worldwide launch on March 23.
The game is based on the popular Japanese manga and anime The Seven Deadly Sins. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin follows the success of The Seven Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS, a RPG which has managed to exceed 70 million downloads worldwide. The game is developed by the same team and features a multiverse storyline which is original to the game. It offers players the chance to experience an expansive open world across the continent of Britannia where they can collect heroes from The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Players can customize their combat style and shape their adventure.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has been optimized to deliver a premium open-world RPG experience across different platforms. At launch, the studio shared in a statement that that game supports 12 languages and thus ensures accessibility for players around the world. The game follows the epic journey of Tristan and Tioreh. As they travel across the continent of Britannia, they encounter familiar characters from the series, like Meliodas, as they engage in intense battles and lighthearted adventures.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is now available on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. It’s officially launching on March 23 through Google Play and the App Store.
