It looks like things are about to get interesting again in the Battlerealm. That's because the sorcerer, warrior, and stalker of the night is arriving in Marvel Contest of Champions. Get ready to rule the darkness with Dracula when he arrives October 16.
Vlad Tepes Dracula was supposed to die after being cut down in a battle. However, he was infected with vampirism and rose again with darker powers. Over the centuries his power grew and now rules as the Voivode of the Vampire Nation. He may play the role of a refined leader but his thirst for blood and violence is something that's never truly sated.
Undead and Unstoppable
Dracula doesn't arrive at the game alone. That's because there's also the undead and unstoppable Franken-Castle. You see, one version of the Punisher has him meet his grisly end and later allowed to rest in peace. The problem is that his rest was cut short as he awakens on the operating table of Doctor Michael Morbius. It seems that Frank Castle has been re-assembled in order to help The Legion of Monsters protect Monster Metropolis. Franken-Castle now continues his crusade for vengeance deep into his undeath. He arrives at the game on October 30.
Event Quest
As part of the new update, the Children of The Night has been launched. This limited event starts October 8 and runs through November 5.
The story follows a strange dusk falling over The Contest as monsters who go bump in the night begin crawling from their shadows. One of those monsters is Count Dracula who hopes to assist other creatures in crisis. Sinister science, chilling creations and hairy situations await.
Marvel Contest of Champions invites players to step into The Battlerealm and experience epic 1v1 combat. It features various Super Heroes and Villains from across the Marvel Universe. The game was first released on mobile platforms through iOS and Android. Then in June 2025 it was made available for PC and fully optimized for mouse, keyboard, and controller on the big screen.
Players get to take on the role of a Summoner chosen by The Collector. They assemble a powerful team from a roster of more than 300 Champions. Players can engage in fast-paced battles against enemies and players from around the world. They'll have to master intuitive combat mechanics and release special attacks as they fight across cinematic storylines, competitive arenas, and time-limited events.
