The Open Beta 7 Update for SMITE 2 is here and invites players to explore the fiery depths of the Underworld. One of the highlights is the arrival of none other than the Warden of the Underworld himself, Cerberus.
Cerberus takes center stage with soul-rending damage and unparalleled healing siphons. He has Melee Basic Attacks with Damage Type being Magical.
Passive: Spirit of Death
What this ability does is every time a nearby enemy god is Healed, that Heal is lower by 40%. At the same time, Cerberus receives 60% + 1% per level of the Heal. The amount stolen is based off of the base heal effect and doesn't include any increase or reduction applied. In addition, severing an enemy soul increases Healing stolen from them by 20% for 5s.
Ability 1: Paralyzing Spit
With their snake tail, Cerberus spit venoms which pass through enemies while Magical Damage. If the dog heads are alert, they also spit venom. In addition, each head is alerted by landing a basic attack and all are alerted after Ghastly Breath is used. However, when all heads are alert, the snake tail projectile Stuns targets. The stun is 75% less effective within 2.5 meters.
Ability 2: Ghastly Breath
The heads release a cone of noxious breath dealing Magical Damage repeatedly to enemies in front of Cerberus:
- Enemies hit have their Magical Protection reduced up to 3 times.
- Enemies in the center of the breath are Slowed up to 3 times.
- Firing this ability immediately alerts all the heads.
- Killing Souls with this ability enhances its damage by 15% for the remaining duration up to 3 times. At 3 stacks the entire area immediately applies 3 stacks of the Slow.
Ability 3: Soul Expulsion
The ability has Cerberus Leap forward and deal Magical Damage to enemies. He then severs their souls once he lands. Killing a soul Heals him and reduces Soul Expulsion’s cooldown by 2s.
Ultimate Ability: Stygian Torment
Ceberus raises all enemy Gods into the air and then severing their souls while also dealing Magical Damage to them before. After that he pulls the enemy Gods in front of him. Using this ability alerts all of the heads
