There’s Still Time to Join the Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event in The Elder Scrolls Online

It was last week when Whitestrake’s Mayhem made its grand return to The Elder Scrolls Online. There's a lot to be excited about for this version, especially when it comes to rewards. If you've just logged-in to the game, not to worry. You can still enjoy since the event ends August 6.

One of the biggest differences that this event has with the previous years is that you no longer need to get or use Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity. The reason was that it gave a 100% buff to the Alliance Point, XP, and Tel Var Stone gains. The thing is, this time around the bonuses are now shared passively to everyone who's fighting it out across Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and even Battlegrounds. This also means that you can no longer pick up the item anywhere in-game. If you happen to own the item, you'll find out that it won't have any functionality.

Joining the Mayhem

For those who may have forgotten how to join the event, here's a quick recap:

Go to the in-game Crown Store and obtain the "Details on the Whitestrake’s Mayhem" quest.
You then need to travel to your Alliance War faction's main gate over in Cyrodiil. You can use the Alliance War menu or a Battlegrounds camp outside major cities.
Look for the NPC named "Predicant Maera" and continue the quest.
Complete the quest to receive a complimentary Pelinal’s Boon Box.

Note that there's no need to travel to Cyrodiil to start the event. In addition, if you already completed the quest, there's no need to do it again.

Pelinal’s Boon Boxes

Pelinal’s Boon Boxes can be earned as rewards from doing these various activities during the event:

Battlegrounds quests from Battlemaster Rivyn.

Scouting, Battle, Warfront, and Conquest Missions.

Elder Scroll capture and recapture quests.

Town quests in Vlastarus, Bruma, Cropsford, Cheydinhal, and Chorrol.

Imperial City daily quests.

When you open a Pelinal’s Boon Box, you should get a Parcel of Tel Var Stones, Cyrodiil repair kit, and Soul Gems. That's not all since you also receive any one of these:

Alchemy Ingredients

Style item for your Alliance's armor style

Style item for Akaviri armor style

Daedric siege weapon

Whitestrake's Mayhem book furnishing

Forward Camp for your Alliance

Chapter of your Alliance's armor motif

Prismatic Runestone

Chapter for the Akaviri armor motif

Small chance to receive one or two fragments of the Alliance Breton Terrier pet

By the way, when opening the box, there's also a small chance to receive a Transmute Geode and a very small chance to obtain an unbound and tradeable Ayleid Lich Armor Style Page.
