Developer GSC Game World provided an update on the physical editions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2: Heart of Chornobyl. It seems that the initial number of physical editions have mostly sold out. However, it looks like there's still a lot of demand and as a result the studio has confirmed that it's doing another run. This should be good news for those who want to get their hands on this upcoming title.

Those who have already bought any physical edition of the game can expect to have it delivered to them on the release date by the retailer or shop on where they placed an order. Those who have yet to place an order can do so and they can check out the different links here.

By placing an order with one of the links, players first receive the digital copy of the corresponding edition of the game at launch with the physical content itself being delivered after a short wait before the end of April 2025. The links are active until November 10.

Different Editions

What makes the physical editions a good addition to one's collection? Of course, it's the physical items. The Limited Edition Reprint for example comes with these physical items:

  • Letter from Developers
  • Souvenir Zone Permit
  • Sticker Pack
  • Zone Map
  • Poster
  • Faction Patches
  • Military Token
  • Keychain (multi-tool with fire starter)
  • SteelBook

Meanwhile, the Collector's Edition Reprint has everything in the Limited Physical Edition and adds the Artbook and Stalker Figurine. Finally, there's the Ultimate Edition Reprint which contains what's in the Collector's Edition Reprint but also has the Artifact Container Lamp and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Backpack.

It goes without saying that it's good to pre-order since there's a pre-order bonus no matter the edition purchases. These are the Extended Campfire Content, "The Veteran" Unique Weapon, "The Tourist" Unique Armor, and "Early Bird" Exclusive Backpack.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl offers an immersive post-apocalyptic atmosphere which can be experienced through an open-world design. The game takes place in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone which has undergone a dramatic change after a second massive explosion that happened in 2006. Players get to take on the role of a lone stalker and explore the photorealistic seamless open world that the game offers. The game is coming out on November 21 and can be accessed for the PC via Steam.
