Three New Students Join Blue Archive with Latest Update

A new update has been released for Blue Archive. Titled as "A Flower Blooms Among the Hundred: Fair and Square Aquatic Showdown," it features new students and a new story.

New Students

The first of the new students is Kikyou (3★, Swimsuit). She plays a Support role and brings with her a Sonic attack type. Her EX Skill is known as the Summer Catnap Technique. It has her enter the battle on her hammock, giving the hammock 45.1% of her Max HP for 30 seconds.

The second is Renge (2★, Swimsuit), who is a Dealer and also has Sonic attack type. Her EX Skill is called the Seaside Marksmanship. What it does is deal a percentage of ATK as damage to one enemy. It also consumes 1 Water Pressure (if available) to deal percentage ATK as additional damage.

Third is Yukari (3★, Swimsuit), a Dealer with Piercing attack type. She brings to the fight her EX Skill which is Dangerous Summer Sea. It deals a percentage of ATK as damage to all enemies in a circular area.

The Pick-Up Recruitment Schedule for the three new students runs from November 18 to December 2.

To learn more about the probabilities, players can check in-game through “Recruit” and then choose “Rate Info,” which is at the bottom left of each Recruitment area. During Pick-Up Recruitment, players can use Recruitment Points for Selective Acquisition of Pick-Up students. Once Pick-Up Recruitment ends, Recruitment Points are converted to Keystone Pieces at a 1:1 ratio.

Blue Archive was originally released for mobile and has seen massive success. The Steam version came out in July 2025. The game has ranked consistently as one of the most played anime-style games around the world and has a dedicated global player base. it's set in Kivotos, a massive city with numerous academies. Players take on the role of an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E., (aka SCHALE). They'll need to move forward and resolve the endless incidents that happen in the city while at the same time build relationships with charming anime students through RPG Action Strategy and thrilling military action gameplay.
