A timed trial of Dragon Age: The Veilguard is now available on all platforms. With this, more players should have the chance to experience the game, especially this holiday season. There is just one catch and that is you'll need to have an EA Play subscription.

The timed trial gives players the opportunity to come up with their very own version of Rook and the fight side by side with Varris Tethras through a chaotic moment in Minrathous. This is a city that has long been mentioned in Dragon Age but haven't been seen until now. The goal is to stop the ritual the Solas is conducting because if it succeeds, it's going to flood the world with demons and bring with it massive devastation. During your adventure, you'll get to meet some of Rook's companions who're going to open various new combat options.

The thing is that the timed trial ends after five hours of play. This means that for those who don't spend too much time in the game's in-depth Character Creator, they could get as far as recruiting the Veil Jumper Bellara, who is the elven artifact expert.

Since there's no time limit here, they can take their time coming up with the perfect Rook. Once ready, they can then import this customized Rook into the timed trial.
