Com2uS announced that its upcoming TOUGEN ANKI Crimson Inferno obtained a good response from global fans during the recently held AnimeJapan 2026. The experience zone the studio put up drew large crowds who were excited to try the playable demo. Fans also joined in on-site events.
AnimeJapan is the leading annual animation event in Japan. It attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year and features major companies across animation, gaming, and toy industries. For this year, it was held on March 28–29 at Tokyo Big Sight. Com2uS joined the event this year with a dedicated booth that showcased its TV anime-based game lineup through stage programs, live demos, and interactive events, generating strong anticipation for its upcoming releases.
For TOUGEN ANKI Crimson Inferno, the studio revealed that many of those who attended praised the game mainly for being to capture the appeal of the TV anime in a faithful manner while at the same time being able to offer an engaging gameplay. Of course, visitors also took part in official social media campaigns, photo zone activities, and stamp programs. There were also those who received commemorative merchandise.
TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno is a thrilling turn-based RPG that's adapted from the TOUGEN ANKI anime, which in turn is based on a manga of the same title. It's based on the folklore of Momotaro and tells the story of a fierce feud between those who carry the blood of Oni and the descendants of Momotaro. More than four million copies of the manga have been sold and the upcoming title means that fans get to experience it in a different medium.
TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno has been designed not only for PC but also for mobile platforms. The goal is to deliver an optimized cross-play experience. This means players should be able to enjoy the game across devices without disruption along with gameplay that adapts smoothly to different environments.
