Tow New Nightfarers Join Elden Ring Nightreign with Forsaken Hollows DLC

The Forsaken Hollows DLC has finally arrived and is now live in Elden Ring Nightreign. There's going to be two new third day bosses for players to face off against. The good news is that there are also new Nightfarers joining the fight.

The first is the Scholar. This trained academic excels in the art of spellcasting. He brings with him impressive arcane knowledge and is able to gain incredible advantages on the battlefield through keen observation. Second is the Undertaker, a character who's driven by faith and strength and mandated by her monastery to slay the Nightlord. This unassuming gatekeeper to the afterlife makes use of her uncanny strength to destroy enemies with ruthless efficiency.

To unlock these new Nightfarers, players need to defeat Gladius Beast of Night (Tricephalos). Once that's done, they then need to return to the Roundtable Hold and talk to the Iron Menial. Players should obtain from the Iron Menial a message from the Small Jar Merchant.

New Bosses

The DLC also introduces a new boss known as "Balancers." To unlock, two conditions must be met. The first is that both Scholar and Undertaker need to be playable. Second is that players need to have defeated at least two bosses in the main game with one of them being the Tricephalos.

Once the conditions have been met, players now have to head to the chapel that opens up behind the Small Jar Merchant. There they should be able to challenge the cataclysmic Shifting Earth event known as "The Great Hollows" and the boss expedition for the Balancers.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a condensed action RPG where players never experience the same journey twice. That’s because the enemies, rewards, and even Limveld itself are ever-shifting and evolving with each new session. Each session-based adventure is similar to playing through an open-air dungeon since each journey provides players the chance to grow lasting stat bonuses. Successful runs against the night bring players ever closer to defeating the Nightlord and learning more about the story behind each Nightfarer in this parallel world.

On PC, Elden Ring Nightreign is available through Steam. The game is also available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
