Techland announced that Tower Raid is coming to Dying Light 2 Stay Human on February 19. This standalone mode isn't going to be in the game for a limited period but instead staying permanently.

This reveal of a release date is a result of the mode being incorporated into the game as a result of the feedback received. Once it goes live, players should be able to access Tower Raid via the main menu. Once that's done they should be transported to the Raid Hub. This is where they can enter the Tower Raid and also be able to visit the shops associated with its progression.

It's Jai and Sola

Players should be happy to know that when they get to the shops, they can see a familiar face in Jai. For those new to the game, he is a vendor that has his own persistent Reputation progression. In addition, he also has an inventory that's been designed specifically for Tower Raid and its characters. While in the Raid Hub, players can also check out what the new vendor Sola has to offer. She's offering players some assignments to do and those who complete them can get their hands on rewards which can be transferred to the base game.

Different Difficulty

For those who think they're ready for the Tower Raid, that's when they choose the character, perks, and all the other details. Players can take on this new mode in Normal and Elite. In a post, the studio shared that they've also added a third one which is Quick. This one has players go through four floors and a rooftop fight.

Those looking for a challenge can try Elite. Here they can go through 12 floors on either Hard or Nightmare difficulty along with additional modifiers. For Normal and Quick, the difficulty levels are Easy, Normal, Hard, or Nightmare. By the way, the studio also said that new floors were added to the rotation.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human invites players to a post-apocalyptic open world that’s been overrun by hordes of zombies. It’s a world where parkour and combat skills are key to survival. Players can travel the City freely during the day but they’ll need to watch out for the monsters that take over during the night.
