A new DLC for Myth of Empires is in the works. Dubbed as the "Persia DLC," there has been some information put out on what new content is arriving. Developer Angela Game just upped the excitement with the reveal of two new cave scenes.
Sandworm Cave
The Sandworm Cavern has been designed to be both intricate and challenging. This vast underground labyrinth is the result of circular tunnels and various interconnected cavities that's been dug out by sandworms. It's easy to be disoriented here and players need to identify the paths leading to key areas.
That said, this rather arid environment has resulted in a rather unique ecosystem. It's where creatures like beetles, mud wasps, and spiked insects, have been found to be highly aggressive. They either lie in ambush or swarm in packs to attack. It means players need to look out for those unpredictable challenges.
The ruler of this ecosystem is none other than the Sandworm Boss. It is the one which poses the greatest threat in the cavern, especially with its massive body and devastating skills. Its appearance signifies not only a fight for survival but also a supreme test of teamwork and operational skills.
Plant Cavern
The Plant Cavern presents an ecological setting which features poisonous gases permeating the damp and dark environment. Faint illumination is provided mainly by the sporadic luminescent mushrooms. Vines hang from the ceiling as well as the passageways. Meanwhile, the stones are covered with moss which results in natural decorations that exude that eerie beauty. Each sight within this cavern tells a story of nature's wonders and perils.
This area is home to different bizarre and deadly creatures. These include plant mutants with bird-like feet and bloodthirsty tendrils which resemble animated vines. There are also carnivorous flowers having sharp teeth hidden within their massive petals. These dangerous beings lie in wait and are sure to be obstacles for adventurers.
The ruler of the Plant Cavern ecosystem is the Moss Giant. This colossal figure is composed entirely of thick moss, fungi, and rocks. Its movements bring vibrations and a sense of oppression. It appears slow but actually wields devastating power.
