Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Comes Out October 21

Developer The Chinese Room announced thatVampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is launching on October 21. In the game, players get to hunt their way across a modern-night Seattle that's on the brink of an open supernatural war. The best way to describe it is that it's visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery.

While the studio has been releasing information every now and then, there’s still a lot of reasons to be excited about when the game is released. For one, there’s going to be additional clans available at launch. These are the ambitious Lasombra as well as the seductive Toreador.

Players are also going to be able to play parts of the game as Fabien, the mysterious Malkavian detective who's stuck in Phyre's head. Together, the Kindred solve a murder mystery that threatens to alter modern Seattle’s vampire society.

Pre-order for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is now open. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99. There's also a Deluxe Edition offered at $69.99. Aside from the base game, this edition comes with the "Santa Monica Memories" Cosmetic Pack. The pack features decor items that are inspired by the original cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines to adorn Phyre’s in-game apartment.

The Premium Edition is available for $89.99. It has the base game and the "Santa Monica Memories" Cosmetic Pack. It also has the "Shadow & Silk" Clan Pack. This content add-on has players choose the Lasombra or Toreador clans for Phyre. Each clan offers new, unique abilities, playstyles, and distinct outfits.

Before the game is actually released, the studio revealed in a post that they'll be releasing one video per week until the launch. It's all about what players can expect in the game. The first one has been released and it's all about the gameplay with Fabien. Watch the video here.
