Developer Karaclan announced that its upcoming titled VED is releasing in 2024. It's going to be available on different platforms that include the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The game is described as a story-driven RPG which features a unique turn-based combat system along with roguelite elements.
It's actually the studio's first title. Karaclan is an indie studio which was formed by the Babadzhan brothers, three artists who are based in Lithuania. In fact, all of the in-game artworks were hand-drawn by them. To get an idea of what the game is about, you can watch the story trailer below:
The game follows the story of Kir, who arrives to the city of Micropole looking for new life. He soon learns that he has the ability to teleport between two worlds. There is actually another reality that is truly different from his world and it's one where there are strange creatures, mysterious flying islands, and dangerous monsters. It becomes clear that there is something that is linking the two worlds.
In VED, players not only get to learn more about the truth of the two worlds but even get to decide their fate. Discover the ancient sorcery of the Veds and get that advantage against enemies to win. Mysterious islands are their to explore and can either be a blessing or a curse.
