The full release 1.0 of Enshrouded is finally here. One of the highlights is that there's now a full map for everyone to explore. Players can now experience all the hidden valleys and majestic mountains of Embervale.
In the northern part for example, there's Cinder's Cradle that's just past the Veilwater Basin. This new area has two sides to it. Underneath it has lava that flows across a barren wasteland that's been littered with the ruins of a mysterious past. There are some parts lost to the Shroud, others lost to time and decay. Then above the lava and ruins, one can see floating islands. It is said that the Ancients once lifted the earth to create this realm. It's filled with unusual fauna, intricate architecture, and unrelenting guardians. Both worlds though are connected through tendrils of the Shroud, reaching ever higher to snuff out a sacred light in the Ancient midsts.
As players explore Cinder’s Cradle, they'll face a new threat so it's good to bring their best gear, upgrade it, cook the most efficient food before testing their mettle against these new formidable guardians of the last secrets of Embervale.
The new biome though is just a part of the complete new map. There are two new Hollow Halls which have opened their gates. One in the Albaneve Summits and one in the Veilwater Basin. A lot of new areas have also been added to Springlands, Blackmire and Kindlewastes specifically. The new areas expand the previous playable areas towards the edges of the world. Though they're not as densely filled with points of interest compared to the central areas, they still offer many surprises and rewards for explorers.

Enshrouded is a game that's all about survival, crafting, and action RPG combat, which is now available on Steam Early Access. Like with most survival games, you pretty much start nothing but with the will to survive. You'll need to scrape and scavenge whatever you can find in the ruins of a lost kingdom. It goes without saying that you'll have to fight beasts that are hungry for your flesh.
