Fatshark has launched a new annual event for Warhammer: Vermintide 2. The Feast of Grimir is now live and to run until September 14. For the duration of the event, the new event level can be accessed through the Weekly Event Game Mode. Those who can complete the quests get rewards.
Players should be happy to know that Taal’s Horn Keep has been given a summery makeover that some of them might be familiar with. By the way, during the event Heroes gain Double XP. Learn more about the Feast of Grimir here.
Aside from the new event, the Lohner’s Emporium of Wonders’s event section has been opened again. That means players can now buy the new cosmetic frame with the old event rewards from other recurring events.
Features and Tweaks
The new event arrives in the game alongside update 6.7.0. Some of the changes introduced include:
- Bots now avoid damage circles in Enchanter’s Lair.
- Bots are now able to detect attacks from multiple enemies at once that don't directly target them.
- Bots are now less prone to dodge into enemies.
- Boss health bars no longer disappear until bosses are dead.
- Teammates attacking bosses now make the health bar appear for oneself as well (similar to pinging).
- Additional health bars now appear if more than one boss is active at once.
- Players joining mid-match can now spawn while other players are riding an elevator.
