Wayfinder: Early Access Release Delayed to Thursday

For those excited about the upcoming launch of Wayfinder to Steam Early Access, you’ll have to wait one more day for the release. Originally planned to be launched yesterday, it’s been delayed and now coming out on August 17.

According to developer Airship Syndicate, they're working on resolving some of the final issues to make sure that the early access for both PC and PlayStation have a smooth start. This meant the need to have additional time. The studio went on to say that they're also working with a team at publisher Digital Extremes to ensure the same for the Founder's Packs. This is good news for the players considering that it’s only a few days of delay.

Founder's Packs

The Founder's Packs is a way for players to enjoy the benefits of being a Founding Wayfinder. With this, they not only get early access to the game but can even unlock exclusive items along with customizations.

There's a total of four packs available with the Base Pack and Initiate Pack allowing for progress on the Reward Tower and earning Venomess Crafting Components. Meanwhile, the Awakened Pack and Exalted Pack provide access to the Season 1 Reward Tower as well as the new character named Venomess and her signature weapon.

Early Access Perks

With early access, players not only get to enjoy the game but also some of the exciting features. There's the Player Housing for example where they get to have their very own customizable apartment along with various decorations.

In addition, early access also allows players to play the game anywhere and with friends regardless of whether they're on PC or PlayStation consoles. In addition, any progression made during early access can be saved and the carried over once the game is officially launched.

The game is set in the world Evenor where players need to harness the power of being a Wayfinder and use unique abilities that include ebbing arcane magic, lethal melee, and even mystical tech. It offers an immersive world ready to be explored with new locations, beasts, as well as materials. The materials can be used to craft new weapons and gear.

Wayfinder arrives to Steam Early Access this Thursday.
