Curve Games has entered into a major new publishing partnership with independent developer Wayfinder Studios. This is for the latter's highly anticipated co-op action RPG Wyldheart.
The agreement serves as an important milestone in the next phase of growth for Curve Games. This is their largest deal since the company was acquired by Nazara Technologies back in May 2025. The increased investment allows for Curve to make bigger and bolder moves as it identifies and supports games that can compete in the premium "Triple-I" and even AA indie market. The partnership also lets Curve return to an RPG audience.
Wyldheart offers a fresh take on the multiplayer fantasy RPG. It features the adventure and freedom of traditional role-playing games and combines it with survival gameplay and flexible drop-in, drop-out co-op. The game invites players to a persistent world that they can share with friends and explore on their own terms.
Going back to the new agreement, it reflects the strategy of Curve when it comes to supporting unique games that have a strong creative vision, clear commercial potential, and the ability to engage players around the world. The addition of Wyldheart complements the existing portfolio of Curve while at the same time bringing with it something fresh and compelling.
Talking about the new partnership, Curve Games CEO Stuart Dinsey revealed in a statement that everyone at the company fell in love with the game when they first saw it. He added that they are excited to have been chosen by Wayfinder to help build the game.
Meanwhile, Wayfinder Studios co-founder and CEO Dennis Brännvall shared that finding the right partner was important, especially since it can help them build on the momentum they already have. For the studio, what made Curve stand out was how they understood quickly what they were trying to make and who they were trying to make it for.
Wyldheart is a co-op action RPG that's set in a rustic fantasy world and has players embark on bite-sized campaigns.
