A new theme region is set to be unveiled in Where Winds Meet. Qingzhou opens up on October 15 and expands the journey eastward. It's a place where majestic mountains meet the roaring sea. In particular, Qingzhou brings players beyond the blade as they get to explore a side of the Jianghu where wisdom, openness, and restraint carry as much weight as martial prowess.
Compared to the previous mountain-bound exploration, Qingzhou has rugged peaks seamlessly fused with broad coastal landscapes that's shaped by Confucian thought. The journey itself begins at the Eastern Peak where the climbing pine-covered mountain paths head toward golden dawns above broad mudflats where the Yellow River meets the ocean.
Being the most welcoming region in the Jianghu, Qingzhou gives players that feeling of overwhelming kindness and whimsical but heartwarming regional encounters. The friendly locals eagerly guide lost travelers and walk players through their journey. These same locals can even grab their tools to jump into battle by the side of the players when danger strikes.

A New Sect
Qingzhou also introduces players to a new Sect, one that's rooted in a thousand-year legacy of great minds. Known as the Inkbound Order, the sect upholds the ideal that debate, art, and music can resolve conflicts that would traditionally end in bloodshed. As a way of honoring this philosophy, the Order turns words into weapons. How it works is that players jump into A Duel of Wits, a card-based PvP debate arena where witty banter, clever proverbs, and mental mind games dismantle an opponent’s composure instead of their health bar.
In addition, this new sect breaks traditional boundaries as it champions the belief that "wisdom knows no school." What this means is that players can retain their current sect while being able to learn freely as guest scholars. That's not all since players can also experience the hilarious chaos of academy life. These include being the strict Assistant Invigilators busting those sneaky test-cheaters in timed hall challenges and all the way to diving into playful Farm Recess events.
Where Winds Meet has players uncover the mystique of Wuxia martial arts. They can craft and customize their characters and progression by making use of a unique eastern combat system inspired by Wuxia. Where Winds Meet gives players access to a wide range of familiar and exotic weapons along with skills to unlock and upgrade. Players can engage in direct close-quarters combat as they wield an arsenal of weapons that include the Spear, Sword, Dual Blades, Glaive, Umbrella, and Fans. They can also unlock unique martial arts skills like Acupuncture Hitting, Lion's Roar, Merciful Picking, Tai Chi, and so on.
