Kuro Games announced that they are celebrating the second anniversary for Wuthering Waves later this month. As part of the festivities, Version 3.3 update is releasing on April 30.

Dubbed as the "Reverbs From the End of Galaxies," it invites players to celebrate the newest milestone with a bunch of new content. These include three new main quests along with a wide range of free rewards. There's also a two-part collaboration event where players can obtain rewards that include new Expedition Motorbike liveries from the likes of Resident Evil, PRAGMATA, and Angry Birds.

Technical Features

Aside from what's already mentioned, the development team shared in a statement that the upcoming update also introduces some technical improvements to the game. For the mobile platforms, the proprietary mobile frame generation has been designed to enhance in-game performance on mid-range mobile devices. It helps to maintain a steadier and more comfortable frame rate while at the same time lower power consumption.

Meanwhile, the addition of an "Anisotropic Filtering" graphics option on PC results in improved texture quality, sharper surface textures, and enhanced overall visual clarity. Players should also be happy to know that DLSS Super Resolution supports DLAA and on compatible PCs allow for DLAA to have the game to deliver finer image quality with greater visual detail when rendered at native resolution.

Wuthering Waves is an adventure-filled game that's set in a vast and desolate world brought to life with a dynamic storyline and vivid gameplay. Players get to take on the role of Rover, an amnesiac on a quest to reclaim far-off memories. The journey unfolds in a world decimated by an apocalyptic event known as the Lament, after which humans have made a triumphant return. As they progress, players are introduced to a wide range of characters known as Resonators, each with unique abilities and personalities that add to the gameplay experience.

One distinguishing feature in Wuthering Waves is the use of Echoes, a novel combat support system. Players can harness Echoes from defeated enemies known as Tacet Discords to aid in battles, a unique twist on the usual loot-and-loot-again method seen in many RPGs.

Ultimately, Wuthering Waves spins an intricate tale of loss, rebirth, and discovery in a well-realized world. The game is available on the official website as well as mobile platforms via the App Store and Google Play. It has also been released for the PC through Steam and The Epic Games Store. Wuthering Waves is also out for PlayStation 5.
