Game Details

Nagisa no Baka Taishō is the second part of the episodic Disc Saga. It continues the adventures of the same four youths; they begin the game at character level 10. The heroes find themselves enjoying a vacation on a beach; but naturally, their desire for adventure can’t just go away, so instead of relaxing under the sun, they begin to explore the treacherous palace of the mermaids, hoping to find rare treasure.

Graphically and gameplay-wise, the game is nearly identical to the first episode, being a traditional Japanese RPG with top-down navigation and combat, and visible on-screen enemies; the slight differences include new attack animations, new abilities (since the heroes are at a higher level), and the possibility to view each character’s parameters (this option was strangely absent from the first episode).
