Tails of Iron is a hand-drawn RPG adventure game set in a grim land plagued by war. As Redgi, the heir to the Rat Throne, players must restore their broken Kingdom by banishing the merciless Frog Clan and their ferocious leader, Greenwart. The game comes with a free expansion called “Bloody Whiskers,” which introduces a new post-game questline, five new bosses, and two additional difficulty modes. Players must defeat the most lethal warriors across the land to claim the key to the old King’s room and uncover a heinous secret that was perhaps better left forgotten. The game features punishingly brutal combat inspired by the Souls-like genre, immersive storytelling narrated by the legendary Doug Cockle, and a wide range of customizable weapons, armor, and attack styles. With a variety of side quests, special blueprints to forge new weapons and armor, and rare ingredients to cook up health-boosting feasts, Tails of Iron promises hours of challenging gameplay in a gorgeous, lovingly-crafted 2D hand-drawn art style.
