In The Abandoned Presence, players immerse themselves in a world where the city’s secrets must be uncovered to survive. The game features Metroidvania-style gameplay, in which players explore the city, uncover hidden passages, and unlock new abilities, such as wall jumps, double jumps, and air dashes. Players take on the role of Zoe, a young woman who grew up in a dark and dangerous urban setting, and must fight through mobs of enemies, patrol units, elite enemies, and mechanized bosses to discover the city’s cruelest secrets. The game also offers combo-focussed combat, allowing players to learn new skills and abilities to increase their success in battle. With a stunning urban landscape inspired by urban India, players can expect to find hidden secrets and unlock a beautifully curated soundtrack that enhances the pace of the gameplay.
