4-player Co-op Now Available in Wizard of Legend 2

Dead Mage and Humble Games announced that Wizard of Legend 2 players can now enjoy 4-player co-op. With this, players can now enjoy magical fun with up to three more friends, whether in local co-op or online.

In celebration of this new milestone, the studio made the decision to be part of the Steam Couch Co-Op Fest which runs from February 10 to February 17. What this means is that those interested in the game can now buy it at a 20% discount.

Wizard of Legend 2 was launched in Early Access back in early October. The game offers co-op and vibrant new 3D visuals with players getting to master new Arcana and elements along with being able to experiment with spell combinations. The ultimate goal is to be the next Wizard of Legend. The game offers a new series of unpredictably perilous trials and serves as the follow-up to the highly acclaimed original. It features new 3D visuals along with the fast-paced two-player online co-op. There is the familiar Arcana along with new ones.

The game takes place in an age of myth and magic. It's a time when ambitious wizards from around the world have assembled and embarked on the dangerous Trials of Legend in the Floating Lands. A lot of wizards are willing to try but the reality is that most of them are sure to fail. Only those who have managed to master the chaotic and shifting elemental forces of Arcana can become a Wizard of Legend.

The Floating Lands is a place where players get to test their spellcraft skills. It was there that Lanova’s wizard supreme Hieronymus summoned what is now a shifting sorcerous gauntlet to choose a wizard that's worthy of legend. As players go through the challenge, they also get to know the different members of the wizarding council, who are responsible for overseeing, guiding, or even throwing a twist into the trials.

Gameplay is all about harnessing the power of Arcana. These are attacks which can tame the magical chaotic forces of the land through fiery projectiles, magical melee strikes, and swirling tempests, to name a few. During the trial, players can discover their powers and even change Arcana in unexpected ways. They can find their favorite combination by doing some mixing and matching.
