A new Champion is all set to make its way to the roster of Marvel Contest of Champions this month. None other than Star-Lord (Kitty Pryde) makes her way to Battlerealm on November 12.
This version of Star-Lord has Kitty Pryde taking on the role after Peter Quill was forced to abandon the role of being team leader. Actually, it all began after Kitty had a falling out with the X-Men. It was then that she went to space with Guardians of the Galaxy. Then she started a relationship with the original Star-Lord Peter Quill.
Meet the Beast
In addition to Kitty Pryde, a reworked version of Beast is also heading to Battlerealm. Hank McCoy was one of the world experts when it came to mutations and evolutionary human biology. However, he was born a mutant with unusually large hands and feet. Later he took a hormonal extract that caused him to grow fangs, pointed ears, and fur all over his body. He was now a Beast in body and name. A beastly name and body hold the mind of an expert on mutations and evolutionary human biology. Beast (Rework) arrives on November 19.
Victorious Four
The Victorious Four refer to a different version of the Fantastic Four. They also experienced a cosmic accident which transformed them into beings wielding destructive power. However, they were able to reclaim control through the guidance of Victor Von Doom. Thus, the team named themselves as the Victorious Four in honor of Victor and now defends Latveria. Players can now add this team to their roster.
Event Quest
A new event has also been launched that's inspired by the new saga and new Champions. This one sees a distress call summoning Star-Lord (Kitty Pryde) and Beast. However, all they manage to find is trouble and haunting hints of horrors to come. The Battlerealm is overrun with Doom fanatics and this station holds the secrets to this sudden Latverian loyalty. The Dawn of Destruction event runs November 4 to December 8.
