A New Adventure Awaits as Guidus Zero in Now in Early Access on Steam

Com2uS Holdings has officially launched their latest top-down roguelike RPG Guidus Zero. The game is now in Early Access on Steam. With this, players around the world can now be part of this gripping adventure that's filled with dynamic combat, intricate strategy, and a world brimming with mystery. As a way to celebrate this release, the game is being offered at 10% off until December 9.

For the early access version, players can access four chapters of gameplay. They also get introduced to three playable characters who are Dalia, the knight; Chatri, the martial artist; and Zin, the arcane wizard. Each of these characters bring with them uniqueskills and playstyles to the real-time, grid-based combat system.

A New Adventure is Here

The game is set in a mysterious world that revolves around what's known as the Scar. This is a massive sinkhole which lies at the heart of the continent. Players are invited to be part of an elite group of explorers that's been tasked with learning about its secrets. Along the way, they’ll have to fight against battle corrupted enemies.

Players traverse a grid-based battlefield which is limited to movement in four cardinal directions. They get to use a mix of basic attacks and special abilities. They also have to dodge to outwit enemies.

Staying True to the Roots

True to its roguelike roots, the game resets player progress at the start of each new run. That means level-ups and skill upgrades which are earned through combat are temporary. However, the inclusion of persistent mechanics, like the Stone System, lets players to carry forward any meaningful improvements they had across runs and thus encourage long-term progression.

Players can perfect their strategy by teaming up with elemental spirits and in return obtain unique buffs and debuffs which can complement their chosen character. The various treasure chests that have been scattered across the game offer powerful artifacts that’s sure to tip the balance in crucial encounters. All of these elements combined offer that compelling “just one more run” gameplay loop that roguelike fans love.

The full release of Guidus Zero on PC via Steam is set for the first quarter of 2025. There are plans to expand the game to console platforms.
