A New Adventure Awaits You in Sands of Aura

Developer Chashu Entertainment marks another milestone with the official release of its newest title Sands of Aura. The game is now available on Steam and being offered at a 40% discount until November 4.

Sands of Aura was first released on Steam Early Access two years ago in October 2021. Talking about this release, the studio revealed in a post that at the beginning of the second year, the early access didn't feel that much different compared to the first year. They had just launched the Citadel of Steel update and was looking into the feedback and planning for the next update. This was later followed by the Rotted Throne update. It was during work for The Festering Veil update where things didn't go as planned and the goal was now to complete and come out with version 1.0.

Endless Sea of Sand

The story is set in the world of Talamhel where a tormented god had descended resulting in a ruinous cataclysm which plunged everything into perpetual night. The hourglass of time was shattered with its essence being scattered across the land and creating what is now an endless sea of sand. This once flourishing world has now become a putrid lesion of its former glory with those who call it home now husks of corruption.

From the helm of a grainwake, players have to journey across this dangerous sandseas to face the source of this new terror. It’s not going to be easy since there won’t be a guiding light or even that X on the map. Instead, players need to chart their own course and head where they best see fit.

The journey is going to be perilous since the corruption which had plagued Talamhel resulted a horde that’s composed man and other Talamhelic natives which include the venerable Ferrum and the insectoid and hive-minded Hashara. These once warring nations have now become an abominable army of undying malice.
