A new experience is now available in RuneScape like never before. Get ready for Group Ironman, which is a new game mode that lets players relive their previous RuneScape adventures and forge a path to glory together as a team. This new feature though is only available for members.
In this new mode, players get to join forces with two to five friends and relive iconic moments in the game. They get to master combat, craft essential supplies, access group storage, and gather resources as the team works its way across epic quests and legendary boss fights. The downside though, if you call it that, is that no trading outside the group is allowed. There's also no Grand Exchange or even XP handout.
Still, the development team hopes that the thrill of being able to work together as a team should be enough especially as they rise to an all-new challenge with players using their skills to unlock rich rewards on an unforgettable journey. Group Ironman offers a fresh start to the world of RuneScape, whether players are veterans or new to the game. It breathes new life into the quests and landscapes that players know and love while allowing them to rediscover the magic of the game from the very beginning.
This new mode has two categories. There’s Regular Group Ironman where players get to team up and then fight bosses as a group, trade items with each other, and of course, complete Journey Achievements as one team. Those who want to take things to the next level can try the Competitive Group Ironman. This is the ultimate challenge based on the principle that Group Ironmen should never get help from players outside their own group.
