Developer Qin Chuan Han Zhu announced that a new demo for Huaxia: Warring States has been released. It's now available to play over on Steam. With this, players can finally get a taste of the immersive action.
The game was first featured during the Steam Next Fest back in June 2024. Since then, significant updates have been introduced based on player feedback. Some of the key improvements that players can look forward to the new demo are:
- A sleek and intuitive interface which allows for a smoother experience.
- Reduced lag and improved visual performance.
- A crime system and member management system.
- New plot tasks and exploratory content across various counties.
The Warring States Era
In the game, the God of War Chiyou has long been defeated. As a result, the Yan-Huang alliance of humans are the ones that dominated the lands. For more than 1000 years, humans have managed to co-exist and thrive with other races on the continent.
The Zhou royal family is now in decline leading to the various powers making their move. In the middle of this fight for dominance, the era of the Warring States begins.
Choosing a Unique Bloodline·
There’s a lot to love about this upcoming title. One of these is being able to choose a unique background and with it inherit truly unique bloodline powers. Aside from eight families, players can also choose Zodiac signs, and unique traits, to name a few. The different combinations mean that there’s diverse characters available and each one comes with their own beliefs, innate abilities, philosophies, elemental compatibilities, and even destinies.
Different Gameplay Elements
The game offers players an adventure in a sandbox world that’s set in the Warring States era. The game world is based on real geography with the development team doing their best to represent accurately the diverse landscapes that is the Nine Provinces map.
Players can experience the dynamic changes in scenery especially with the passing of time. That means day and night cycles along with seasonal transitions. There are also dynamic NPCs and different interactions which offer an immersive experience.
