A New Dungeon Opens Up in The First Descendant with Latest Update

A new episode has arrived in The First Descendant. It introduces a lot of new content that include the new dungeon called Exposed Undersea Base. This Vulgus base was discovered along the coast of Axion and features a new "Infiltration Operation" that comes with a new enemy type and new boss 'Sarcophage.' There's also a new elite monster effect added that provides a benefit to players if they successfully evade attacks.

New Ultimate Weapons

Players can look forward to two new weapons. The first is the "E-Buster." It's suited for Ines and features a unique ability which can increase electric skill power. This weapon is able to deliver powerful damage to a single target.

Second is the "Eye of the Storm." This beam rifle is able to switch between 'Typhoon Mode' and 'Storm Mode'. Under Typhoon Mode, the weapon automatically targets and attacks eight enemies at once. Meanwhile, Storm Mode is able to deal powerful damage to a single enemy.

Monthly Balance Update

Aside from introducing new weapons, there are also balance changes made to selected Ultimate Weapons. For "Clairvoyance," it has been reimagined as a frost weapon that creates 5 Frozen Spears when players shoot an enemy. This allows it to deal powerful damage on a single target.

For the "Hammer and Anvil," the Anvil Mode has been improved. What happens is that firing the weapon into the air transforms it into a weapon that attacks nearby enemies with homing projectiles. This makes it an excellent weapon for annihilating multiple monsters.
