A New Threat Arrives in Starfield with New DLC

A new DLC releases in Starfield on April 7. The Terran Armada story DLC is available for $9.99.

The new DLC brings with it a new threat to the Settled Systems. The Terran Armada see themselves as the "true" children of Earth and made up of members of the United Colonies and Freestar Collective. These groups were said to have vanished during the Colony War. Composed mainly of robotic soldiers, the Terrans are an advanced military force.

The new questline in Terran Armada has been woven into the fabric of the Settled Systems. When the Terrans first arrive, their motivations are unclear though the fate of the war against the Terran Armada are sure to have consequences that ripple throughout the galaxy. The thing is, not all Terrans have it out for the Settled System. Along the way, players can meet their new companion Delta, a reprogrammed Terran Armada robot. While he's not evil, he's definitely not good.

Incursion System

The Terran Armada DLC introduces players to a new Incursion system. These can occur almost anywhere in the Settled Systems and are both a key part of the DLC storyline along with repeatable content with great loot to collect.

Players can see where the Terran Incursion are on the Starmap. Which means the choice is up to them whether they avoid them or take them head-on. Players have to think carefully before they jump in as nearby Terran technology could prevent them from quickly jumping away. They'll need to get far enough away or shut down the Incursion to successfully grav jump. It's important to remember that there are encounters out there that can pull players out of Cruise Mode.

Incursions range from small skirmishes to large-scale infiltrations of Terran vessels where the objectives can vary. Some are story-required while others are optional and reward exploration.
