Zine Falouti announced that Alder Forge 2 is entering Early Access in the second quarter of 2025. The game is set two years after the end of the first title and continues the story of the Fourth Squadron and their new three allies. It also sees that start of the fall of a feudal society and the beginning of something new.
Much like the first game, Alder Forge 2 features a more robust and adaptive turn-based RPG with new additions that include, among others, skills fusion, multi-crafting, and reputation system.
The game is set in the year 947 AGC. It's two years after the Orvysian invasion of Royne which saw the final battle between the Fourth Squadron and the Equilibrium. In the aftermath of this event, the Magna Lumen was forced to emerge from the shadows and now involved in a world-scale violent conflict with all the branches of the High Council. This same conflict is amplified by the destined fight between the 9 remaining Knights of the Alder Forge and their respective Guardians.
Meanwhile, the noble traditionalists are making use of the fight between the Magna Lumen and the High Council to make a wicked and violent last stand. Other shadowy organizations are using the chaos to further their hold on the politics and economics of this world.
