Amir’s Shockwave Arrives to Warframe on August 12

Amir's Shockwave brings with it a bunch of new rewards.

The infamous Hex hacker is more than ready to take over the Nightwave in Warframe. It's time to get a Nightwave Mix: Amir’s Shockwave arrives on August 12.

This electrifying Nightwave sees the past and the future collide. It offers players rewards that's sure to add "shocking" spring to their step. For example, there's the 1999-themed Globakk Syandana, Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia, and Teisatz Oculus, to name a few. More details are planned to be revealed closer to the event.

The Nightwave

For those new to the game, Nightwave is a pirate radio broadcast that usually hosted by Nora Night and focused on the latest stories in the Origin System. Nightwave is also a series of Daily, Weekly and now Acts. All of which offer new and useful Rewards.

Nightwave can be accessed through three ways. It's via the Base of Operations’ Navigation console, the Orbiter’s radio scanner, which is located on the left side of the Orbiter’s bridge, or via the Pause Menu UI. Then in the Nightwave menu, players can see their progress through the current mix along with the current Reward Tiers. The same menu also shows a rotating set of Daily, Weekly, Elite Weekly and Permanent Weekly Acts.

Fables & Frontiers

In addition to the new series of Nightwave Mix Rewards, players can also look forward to a new six-day KIM mini narrative adventure. It's happening in the form of Fables & Frontiers: Running Late and also coming out on August 12. All the players need to do is allow Amir to guide them across the bite-sized take on the Fables & Frontiers tabletop game from the world of Warframe: 1999.

To unlock Fables & Frontiers: Running Late, players need to complete The Hex Quest’s finale and reach Rank 5 with The Hex Syndicate and a KIM Chemistry of "Close" (Rank 5) with Amir himself.

New Rewards that can be earned from Fables & Frontiers: Running Late include the Atomicycle Key Sugatra, Fables & Frontiers Glyphs for each member of The Hex, and several returning items from Nora's Mix Vol. 8, to name a few.
