Steam Next Fest is a celebration of upcoming games where everyone gets to explore and even play hundreds of demos. One of these games is ASTRA: Knights of Veda. What this means is that from October 9 to October 16, players have the chance to try out this dark fantasy action RPG.
This upcoming demo is also something to look forward to since it not only features the actual gameplay build but also has more content added. Those able to try out the demo get to experience a large part of the game. Depending on the preference of the players, the game can be enjoyed through Steam by using a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad.
As part of this announcement developer FLINT and publisher HYBE IM have released a trailer that you can watch below:
ASTRA: Knights of Veda is set on the world of Planis, which is now teetering on the edge of oblivion resulting from the tyrannical rule of the mad king known as Magnus. An army tried to go against Magnus to free the masses but this one led to an event which doomed everyone. From the ground rose a giant tree of death which had a deadly bloom that consumed the flesh of some while had others become monstrous beasts. Fortunately, the goddess Veda descended to the world and chose a new champion who would try and destroy the curse that has befallen to the world.
One of the features that players can look forward to in the game is that it offers a fresh take on beat-em-up games. The fluid 2D combat combined with powerful skills and the dodge rolling is sure to make the combat experience truly satisfying. Indeed, one skill can swing the scale in your favor and one mistake can led to the end of life on this world.
Speaking of combat, players have the ability to make use of the knight in the best way that they can especially when it comes to fighting against the well-designed monsters and bosses. Players can go an adventure solo and control up to four knights or play co-op and face the challenges together with others.
