Tales of Berseria Remastered is set to be released next year. This version introduces new technical features that make it enjoyable for players on current platforms. One of these is the addition of the auto-save function. How it works is that the auto-save happens at specific times during the game like after map transitions and after events.

That's not all since players should be happy to know that the skip function has been improved. In the previous version of the game, it was possible to skip during events and even long chats. The latest addition is that players can now skip by pressing the designated button during the fade-out effect when staying at an inn.

Then there's the addition of the retry function, especially upon experiencing defeat in a normal battle. For those who lost a normal battle and the game is over, they can now choose "Retry" from the game over menu to retry the battle.

Here are the other new functions:

  • "Battle Encounters" option added and when set to "OFF," players won't enter battle even if they touch enemy symbols in the field or dungeon
  • "Brightness Adjustment" option added which let players adjust the screen brightness in 101 steps
  • "Automatic Event Skip" option added and when set to "ON," events that players have seen once are skipped automatically
  • "Subtitle Display During Battle" option add and when set to "ON," subtitles are displayed for the post-battle banter and Mystic Arte voices

Other changes made to the game include the introduction of the Grade Shop which can be read here.

Tales of Berseria Remastered has players follow the journey of Velvet Crowe as she goes on a journey of vengeance and uncovers the mystery behind the murder her brother. They get to embark on a tale torn between emotion and reason. It's a story where Velvet and her comrades slash through everyone in their path and navigate through emotional bonds and betrayal.

Tales of Berseria Remastered is coming out on February 27, 2026. It's going to be available on different platforms that include PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
