The Last Kids on Earth: Hit the Deck! is a battle-card game that allows players to use two characters in tag-team combat against zombie hordes and strange monsters.

Each character in the game has their own unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. For instance, Jack Sullivan, an abandoned foster kid and monster-slaying tough guy survivor, is great at teamwork and fights harder when his health is down. Players will gather over 50 pieces of gear, like Fridge-a-pult and the Scream Machine, and collect from a pool of nearly 400 unique cards to add to their arsenal, with the ability to create their own cards. They can also boost their monster-fighting awesomeness with consumables like Atomic Cola and Sulfuric Stink Bombs. With over 30 quests that follow the events of the first book, as well as new opponents and challenges, there's never a dull moment in the town of Wakefield after the Zombie Apocalypse.
