Developer Isolated Games announced that Between the Stars is ready to launch and leave Early Access. The game puts players and the helm of an interstellar cruiser where they get to take part in real-time space battles. However, to win, they'll also need to make use of special abilities.
The game actually released to Steam Early Access back in May 2019. For version 1.0, one of the features that players can look forward to is experiencing the full campaign. They can take on the Children of the Sun across more than 160 main events as they try to restore peace to the Galaxy. Along the way they not only get to meet different characters but also get to discover wild adventures made possible through at least 200 side events.
Version 1.0 also allow players to get their hands on 25 available ships along with numerous weapons and abilities. For those able to manage their crew wisely are sure to overcome any challenge. Of course, players should be happy to know that a lot of the pending bugs have been fixed with events being polished so as to improve the experience.
Saving the Galaxy
Between the Stars has players take on the mission of protecting the civilized world from the Children of the Sun, a faction which has been dominating border planets in the known universe. To complete the mission, they'll have to cross the galaxy and face new challenges present at each warp jump. Players also have to make difficult decision that affects not only the ship and crew but the world that surrounds them.
The key feature in the game is being able to fight in intense space battles in real time. To make a difference on the battlefield, they'll have to use the special abilities on their ship at the right moment. To conquer the galaxy though players need to unlock, personalize, upgrade, and buy various playable ships in their systems. They'll also have to get a captain and develop them during the adventure. Levelling up the captain allow players to get different attributes based on the decisions made.
