Season 8 of Blood Bowl 3 is finally here. The new content introduced this season include the fierce Amazon faction and a new seasonal event. There's also different improvements and other enhancements.
The Amazon faction is composed of warrior-athletes who are known for their tactical skills and agility. They have a play style that can be described as acrobatic as it is violent. The combination of their ability to dodge and light armor make them a truly formidable team who can compete with even the most popular factions.
New Seasonal Event
There's also a new seasonal event known as the Amazon Clash, which is available for the duration of Season 8. This seasonal multiplayer game mode lets players try the new faction for free along with the chance to obtain legendary skins. Get to know more about it here.
Eternal League
The new season also brings back a single-player mode from Blood Bowl 2 to the game. The Eternal League has players infinitely progress their teams by taking part in different themed competitions like for example having opposing teams composed entirely of undead players, the stadium being caught in a perpetual blizzard, or the referee allowing cheating, to name a few.
This is available to all players through a beta on Steam. To join the beta, simply select the Steam branch beta_eternal_league, which can be accessed through the password: welcometotheleague.
Bug Fixes & Minor Improvements
The new season arrives to the game along with an update which brings fixes and improvements. These include:
- Star Player introduction cutscenes no longer replay when overtime starts.
- The dice log now displays all Star Players bought by each team, includes bribery and corruption usage, and now shows argue the call rolls for Secret Weapon players.
- Several issues have been fixed, including rerolling a finished quest canceling the reward, Fumblerooskie no longer being usable, and match awaiting validation feedback appearing on previous rounds in competition schedules.
