Brave Eduardo: A Teddy Bear’s Quest

In the 2D adventure game, Brave Eduardo, players can take on the role of a cuddly teddy bear who is trying to find the purpose of his life. Developed by Gamera Games and Dot Dream, this game is set in a vast Victorian open-world where players can walk through bustling towns and magical biomes while befriending a diverse group of bears on their journey. Brave Eduardo's demo is set to launch today on Steam, giving players a chance to step into the paws of this little bear and experience the game's world for themselves.

The story of Brave Eduardo takes place in a difficult time where almost everything known is in the hands of an ambitious businessman, an iron monarchy, or other powers beyond the understanding of our protagonist. There is an anxious class struggle between Spidz and Bears, manipulated by well-connected individuals from both sides. How Eduardo relates to this complex background is something players will have to find out during his journey.

The game's earliest inspiration comes from a popular legend on the internet: it's about teddy bears forgotten under children's beds, secretly protecting them while they sleep, and fighting against the evil forces that seek to destroy their childhood innocence. Based on this impression from their own childhood, the developers have created a vast and captivating world that promises to offer players a highly-immersive 50-80 hour-long RPG experience that features way more than cute and cuddly teddy bears. Players will find ambitious businessmen, dutiful knights, a contentious monarchy system, and even beings beyond the bear’s comprehension that will make use of body horror.

Brave Eduardo's release date and price are yet to be announced. For more information on the game, check out their Steam page.
