Developer Bird Island and publisher Blowfish Studios are taking the narrative-driven tactical RPG Broken Lines to a new level of terror with their free DLC expansion, "The Drunk and the Dead." Available now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, this thrilling addition to the WWII-themed game brings an alternate timeline filled with reanimated corpses, pagan altars, and a mysterious occult phenomenon.
In "The Drunk and the Dead," players must lead a rag-tag squad of misfit soldiers as they face off against the undead in a chilling twist on the zombie apocalypse. The fog of war is thicker than ever, and overcoming these horrific obstacles will demand skill and bravery.
To help players face the terrifying hordes of the undead, the DLC introduces a bottomless keg of liquid courage, available from a shady local trader. Downing a drink helps steel nerves and grants additional perks and abilities, enabling the soldiers to wield weapons abandoned by less fortunate souls.
The expansion builds on the critically acclaimed gameplay of Broken Lines, offering a more challenging battlefield where players must employ (un)deadly tactics to dominate their foes. The DLC features a three-way conflict against old and new enemies, requiring players to devise new strategies and adapt to updated mechanics to take down mindless behemoths and survive ambushes from all directions.
"The Drunk and the Dead" DLC includes a narrative side story that spans six different levels, introducing new bosses and special zombie types that will test even the steadiest of nerves. The expansion is available in English, French, German, Russian, Spanish - Spain, Polish, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
