Can You Survive the Horror That is Undead Realm: Ego

If you're in the market for a new gaming experience, then you're in luck. The full-motion live-action horror game Undead Realm: Ego is offering just that. It comes out on Steam this January 10.

The game puts players in the role of Ren Xing. They wake up in a mysterious school and as they try to escape, get to meet other survivors. As they work on their escape, they'll need to learn more about the truth regarding the situation and find different ways to cope to reach the final outcome.

Making the Game

On the game's official Steam page, developer MYSTERY CROWN shared that this is their third title after "Try and Love" and "Back." As a full motion video game, there were a lot of challenges that needed to be hurdled. The development team shared that they had to deal with temperatures suddenly dropping along with working in areas that had no water and even no electricity. Fortunately, they were able to eventually finish shooting.

The studio went on to say that for "Try and Love," they would rate it at either 2 or 3 out of 10. Then for "Back" it would be 6 at most. However, for this upcoming title, the creator himself said that he's rating it 6.5 as a result of getting much needed help from the cast and crew.

Future Projects

The studio shared that with Undead Realm: Ego, the plan moving forward is to focus on horror FMV. Right now they're making preparations to work on "Back 2."

However, for now they hope that everyone can experience the new things being offered by Undead Realm: Ego. The studio said that they're hoping to get criticisms and suggestions to help them come out with better products in the future. But just in case, the creator is asking for apologies in case the game doesn't meet expectations.
