Limited Resources
Much like other survival horror games, the resources Lydia has access to is highly limited. She’ll need to forage in her environment and find those precious crafting components to create ammo and healing remedies, to name a few. However, it’s not going to be easy like choosing between combining gunpowder and bullet casings to build more ammunition or use the combination to instead come up with an ink jar and allow for a one-time save.
Unreal Engine 5
Making the gaming experience even more enjoyable is the use of the Unreal Engine 5. This allows for those dazzling effects, massive enemy counts, and intense set-pieces. Indeed, the moody and intimidating lighting combines with terrifying sound design to fully immerse players in the game world.
Other Content
In addition to the main quest, the game also offers bonus modes and content. In Onslaught and Besieged Modes for example, players get the chance to destroy massive numbers of zombies. Then there’s the ultra-hard Looming Dread Mode. Players can also revisit the main story and carry over weapons in New Game Plus.
