The newest flavor pack for Crusader Kings III is now available. Like with most DLC, it introduces new content to the game. This one focuses on the Struggle for the Iranian heartland as the once mighty Caliphate is now doing all it can to keep control. One of the new features that players can look forward to are the different achievements they can obtain.
Today we’ll look into achievements and start with the Easy ones which are:
- Rich in Diversity: As a character of a faith with the Jizya or Tax Nonbelievers doctrines, have ten vassals of other faiths.
- Abbasid Might: Take the Renewed Caliphate ending in the Iranian Intermezzo Struggle.
- Royal Flush: As a character of a faith with the Fedayeen doctrine, dispose of a lowborn, a king, and an emperor.
Those who want to look for a challenge can try and see if they can grab these Hard achievements:
- Iranian Revival: Take the Iranian Resurgence ending in the Iranian Intermezzo Struggle.
- All Your Caliphate Are Belong To Us: Take the Dominate the Caliph foundation as part of the Abbasid Humiliation ending in the Iranian Intermezzo Struggle.
- Shia Reborn: Take the 'Found a New Caliphate' foundation as part of the Abbasid Humiliation ending in the Iranian Intermezzo Struggle.
- Mulct Them Dry: Loot four Illustrious-tier Vizier Extravagance modifiers from your Vizier.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Fill five Tax Collector slots with excellent aptitude characters.
Finally, for players willing to do the grind, the Very Hard achievements are:
- The Umayyad Strikes Back: Starting as a member of the Umayyad dynasty, hold the Empire of Arabia and the Sunni Caliphate.
- Darius Revenge: As a character of Iranian heritage, hold the Empire of Persia, Kingdom of Thessalonika, and Kingdom of Hellas.
- Aside from the Legacy of Persia flavor pack, the free Peacock update has also been released which introduces House Unity and adds a new feature for Clan Vassals.
Crusader Kings III has players take command of their house and expand their dynasty through the Middle Ages. They get to claim lands, titles, and vassals to secure a realm worthy of royal blood. There's also a sprawling simulated world that's filled with different characters that include peasants and knights, courtiers, spies, knaves and jesters, and even secret love affairs. Then there is the extensive cast of historical characters which players can romance, betray, execute, or subtly influence.
Each character in the game is truly larger than life having traits and lifestyle choices which then determine their actions as well as the schemes. Players thus have the option to rule with an iron fist to spread fear and dread or perform magnanimous deeds to inspire subjects.
