The highly awaited co-op game mode is launching to Medieval Dynasty on December 7. This is not the only good news since there's also a new co-op map coming out at the same time. However, it's going to be available for now for the PC via Steam. Those playing on other PC platforms and current gen consoles need to wait until 2024.
The new co-op map is called as The Oxvbow. It introduces a new exciting location which features enigmatic characters, charming villages, and captivating landmarks. Leading the way is Piastovia, which serves as the heart and soul of the Oxbow. The villages that are in The Oxbow come alive through a newfound vibrancy with the addition of workstations. Residents of this enchanting realm now have the chance to immerse themselves in the daily grind. With the rhythmic sound of axes at the lumberjack station, soothing churn of butter, and sight of laundry billowing in the breeze, it's truly a spectacle of medieval life in full swing.
A new character creator is also set to be added which allow players to craft their very own unique male and female avatars in this rich medieval world. Various features like bone structure, eye color, facial hair, and hair styles, to name a few, can all be customized. This should allow the in-game experience to be a truly personal endeavor.
A new co-op map is being made available as well to introduce more community requested features along with dynamic and immersive experiences for players.
In a statement, Toplitz Productions CEO Matthias Wünsche shared that the game "has become a living, breathing world" for the passion community and these new contents allow for fresh avenues when it comes to storytelling and personalization. Render Cube CEO Damian Szymański meanwhile revealed that they're happy to finally share the release date of the ne more. He added that they knew it was a challenge, but they also didn't want to disappoint the players who wanted to have a multiplayer experience. Szymański also said that they made sure to listen to the expectations for this new mode and took every effort to meet those expectations.
