The day has finally arrived as Bladesong is now in Early Access on Steam. This ultimate swordmaking game has players forge unique weapons with freeform blade shaping and modular hilts.
It was back in September when a demo of Bladesong was first made available. This made it possible for the game to enter Early Access. The Early Access is planned to have a much larger chunk of Story content along with more sword parts.
Two Modes Available
Bladesong offers players the choose between two modes. The first is Story Mode which lets them play the prologue along with the first chapter of a five-part story. It introduces them to the city of Eren Keep and its mysteries. Players can craft swords for a wide range of customers, recruit three companions, and encounter two factions which are the murderous Crows and the scholars of the Magisterium.
Meanwhile, in Creative Mode is all about the forge. In this one, players can use the full range of blade-shaping abilities, sword parts, materials, and of course, creative techniques. They can then share the swords with the community or even bring them into the real world using a 3D printer.
Feedback
As part of the Early Access, developer SUN AND SERPENT revealed in a post that they're paying close attention to players feedback along with bug reports, and ideas. Players can communicate with the studio through:
- Discord: Join an amazingly helpful and creative community and talk directly with the developers.
- Steam Community: Perfect for questions, bug reports, and sharing thoughts.
- Steam Reviews: Share with other players how the adventure is going.
The studio also released a quick overview of the Early Access roadmap which can be viewed https://store.steampowered.com....
Bladesong puts players in the role of the swordsmith of Eren Keep. They're someone able to turn steel into something more precious than gold. Customers come with coin in their hands and demands on their lips as they seek blades of deadly precision, balance, and beauty. Be sure to meet their requests, perfect the craft, and find trusted companions in one of the last beacons of civilization. Get Bladesong on Steam now.
