Dark Horizon DLC Arrives to Remnant II on September 24

Developer Gunfire Games and publisher Arc Games that the Dark Horizon DLC is launching on Remnant II on September 24. This is the third and final premium DLC to be made available for the game and priced at $9.99. There’s a lot of new content to look forward to.

In Dark Horizon, players are taken back to N’Erud where they have to uncover a mysterious place that’s been preserved in time. It’s a place where alien farmlands are being tended by robots for inhabitants who have long since died. However, time corrupts all and the rogue AI and robotic creations now pose as a threat at every turn as the Travelers look for the secrets of the colossal entity which dominates the skyline.

New Content

In addition to what’s already been mentioned, there’s also the new Glider Traversal System. This system lets players go around the overworld. It allows them to choose what part of the overworld that they want to explore. Another new content is the new Archetype. Get ready for The Warden and its secret weapon which is The Drone. Fully automated, the drone is able to shield and heal allies or even attack enemies.

Players can also look forward to a wide range of new weapons and modifications. There are also new items that include amulets and rings. With this, the chances of surviving the deadly version of N’Erud should increase.

Of course, there are the new Bosses, Characters and Fearsome Creatures. The mysterious threats and survivors of unknown origin have started to emerge from the long extinct civilization along with rogue AI and robotic creations. They’re just lurking around every corner all set to offer new challenges for all players.

The upcoming DLC is to be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S. With the base game and the three DLC packs, players should now be able to complete experience. By the way, those who bought the Ultimate Edition of the game gets access to all DLCs packs for free.
