Gunfire Games announced that a free major content update is releasing for Remnant II. It's coming out on September 24 and to be available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S. The highlight is the addition of the new Bosh Rush mode to the game.
Boss Rush is a good mode for those who just want to go straight to the action and face of against the bosses. Players though have the choice to go at it solo or take it on with other fellow Travelers through multiplayer. The objective is straightforward in that what players need to do is survive in the fight against hordes of enemies, which include an Aberration, and the go against the bosses. In return they get rewards with elusive drops like weapons.
There are three difficulty options to put those survival skills to the test. The first is Triple Threat which is a three-boss run and the second Trial by Fire, a seven-boss run. The third and most difficult is The Gauntlet which has you go through 19 bosses.
To access the new mode, all players need to do is simply head on over to the World Stone that’s in Ward 13. They then have to choose Boss Rush and then select the preferred difficulty.
Aside from the new game mode, the upcoming new update is also set to add a new system called Prisms. This is a new feature to the game’s rebalanced fragment system, and it can be leveled up to give additional stat bonuses.
Remnant II is a game where the last remnants of humanity fight against the harrowing forces of evil to try and survive. Compared to the usual co-op survival shooter, the game features unseen worlds that’s filled with deadly surprises and encounters.
Players get to join the battle to save humanity in a dynamically generated world that comes with branching quest lines, unique loot, and overwhelming odds. It encourages exploration and replayability. Players also get to define their very own playstyle through the expanded Archetype class system. They also get access to a wide range of guns, armor, and special augmentations as they try to overcome hard-fought challenges and stave off the extinction of humanity.
